Harvesting: Harvest when pea pods are 4" to 5" in length. 
Ensure pods are ripe before harvesting: Should feel filled out, with individual peas.
Harvest before seeds start to plump up.  Once seeds do plump further, they become  fibrous and less edible.

Plant in early spring, once severe cold weather has passed.  Plant again in early August for fall harvest.
