Germination Temp: When temps increase to 65 to 70 degrees F. Ensure nightly temps will not drop below 50 degrees F. Being sub-tropical plants, peppers require heat for germination, and soil can be 80-90 degrees F. At lower temps, germination will occur, yet will take more days.
